It comes as no surprise that the holiday crowds are noticeably thin in San Francisco's Union Square this pandemic-plagued year.
Was at Westfield Mall this morning and it should have been packed.
I walked around the mall and every once in a while I'd see another shopper.
I feel just awful for the sales people who are paid commission on their sales and also those who are not working because there is no foot traffic.
Of course, a huge number of people have simply fled the City for other places.
It’s like a bomb went off. I can’t believe the liberals have done this to themselves, let alone the rest of us.
No conventions. No tourists. No cable cars. Hotels filled with homeless contracts. Tents all over. Windows boarded up. Vacant storefronts.
Just look at the masks. The way they’re worn they couldn’t contain a giant loogie much less a virus particle ... and the people are still scared sh!tless. I find it somewhat amusing ... in a sick sort of way.
Used to take the family to SF every Christmas when we lived in California.
Last time was 1995 when a homeless guy shit in the doorway of our hotel in Union Square.
Well on the plus side shoplifters are fewer.
