What about those of us that don’t take the vaccine or have never had a flu shot?
There is something to be said for herd immunity.
A while back someone mentioned that these diseases strengthen the human race. They pointed out that those of us alive today are the ones who’s ancestors survived the Plague. :)
And I learned a few months ago that there was another brief plague outbreak in San Francisco in the early 20th century. I remember thinking, “well, those of European decent should be fairly immune, but Asians wouldn’t be. And sure enough, the deaths were in Chinatown.
My whole take on this is that I like the Swedish response.
