Makes sense. Coors Light tastes like it’s a hundred years old. But then, so do most mass-produced American beers.

Good idea to keep hydrated with that seltzer water.

That being said, this WWII Air Force Veteran One slight correction. The Air Force didn't exist until 1947. It was the "Army Air Force" during WWII.

No kidding. I’ve even lost friends due to their insistence on ordering Coors Light for parties. Give me a Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout or similar grog.

Sounds tasty. I’m a Stout and Porter man, myself. Deschutes Brewing Co. makes a coffee stout that is very enjoyable.

George Burns smoked cigars daily and lived to be 100.
Meanwhile, famed 1970s jogger Jimmy Fixx died of a massive heart attack and I believe he was in his mid-40s.
Is being too healthy actually dangerous?
To: nickcarraway
Well, it’s not like he’s actually drinking beer.

i think if anything, the thread proves everyone has their own taste when it comes to what makes up an acceptable beer.
Some people like stuff that tastes like you’re drinking a tree
Some people like a more bitter taste
Some people like more of a grain or malted hops taste
Some like a heavy, some like a lighter taste
Some like brands with more alcohol, some like less

‘tastes like you’re drinking a tree’.= Gin (Neat)
‘tastes like you’re drinking warm velvet’ = Bailey’s Irish Cream.

The post just before this was about Colgate toothpaste fighting off COVID. If the old vet puts a squirt of that in each daily beer, he might live forever!
