Actually, two months ago, we had four new strains of C-19, plus the original virus, and all of them were in circulation.

At that time, the claim was that the specific target of the vaccines was not mutating, and that the vaccines would still be effective.

Also at that same time, there had already been more than 100 documented mutations from the original virus.

C-19 experts claim that C-19 does not mutate as fast as common colds or influenza, which is why we need new flu shots every year.

My own guess - we will be getting C-19 booster shots for decades to come.

I believe it is true that we may need boosters yearly. Time will tell and of course we haven’t had time for anyone to know yet.
