I want to thank everyone who has supported my family through these difficult times. Your words of encouragement continue to give Kyle and my family strength as we move closer to trial.
Because of your kind donations, I was able to welcome Kyle home on November 20, 2020. With the assistance of the #Fightback Foundation, we were able to raise over two million dollars.
Donations were used to retain and fund, at least initially, Kyle's defense team and post the outrageous cash bail of two million dollars that finally set him free. We still have a long way to go but I know in my heart that Kyle will be acquitted. Our family has published a new website to keep everyone informed and continue to raise money for Kyle's defense. Kyle was heroic. I want to support him, but I need to know that this is legit. Lots of smart folks here that can sleuth out if this is <hopefully) not a scam.

And it remains to be seen if he really wasn’t supposed to have the gun. It’s at least debatable under Wisconsin law.
When you vote for good guys they put the bad guys in jail. If you vote for bad guys they put the good guys in jail.
I got the email too. I tried to donate but the page for CC info wouldn’t take any numbers so I went to the twitter link from the email and told them about that software failure so they could fix it.
I’m sure it is legit. John Pierce, his former lawyer, has retweeted him asking people to donate.
Looks legit - claims to be owned by the Rittenhouse family.
When I saw the “Store” selling things, I wondered a bit but couldn’t see anything that says it’s a scam - and the things thy sell make the same statement(s) many of us are making - nothing wrong with getting something in return for a way of making a donation.

Glad to hear it. It’s certainly about more than just that young man’s freedom but that would be enough for me. I gave what I could. Also donated before.
I finally got the software to accept my CC info by clicking PayPal and then clicking back on the CC button. A minor problem. I noticed on the @freekyleusa main page that Dan Bongino and Michelle Malkin are following him which gave me even more confidence that it is legit.
They had only raised ~ $54,000 when I donated. Did you happen to notice if they had moved the needle? The left is bailing out rioters and conservatives are being blocked on gofundme. Makes my blood boil! I wish this post had gotten more notice here.
I believe it was in the 40+k range when I donated so it definitely looks like some donations are coming in.
OK, just checked the website and they’re up to $61,891 so it looks like a fairly steady stream for now.
I would hope that other FReepers would understand that this case is important in regards to everyone’s right to self defense not just this young man’s life. It’s also a political prosecution attempting to punish him for fighting back against the state’s chosen leftist thugs.
Just helping a good young man in trouble is good enough for me but I think all three reasons are worthy of my attention.
