HOORAY Rand. Masks = mosques = submission = slavery = loss of freedom, responsibility, life.
You have that right, Paul!
PS. And also about $$$$$
Submission to “authority” and dehumanization of the population. These mask nazis remind me of Donald Sutherland in the final scene of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”, 1978.
Mask are not a panacea for any virus including this one. Prior to the media hysteria, it was accepted based on peer reviewed solid research that masks did not prevent transmission of virus for the wearer or the infected.
Like much of what we see in Western society, the “mask” has become virtue signalling. It is a way for politicians and bureaucrats to feel like they are doing something and it is a way for the fearful to be confident.
The rules and edicts we have seen during this “pandemic” have done nothing. If you objectively examine the available data on rates and states you will quickly understand that the virus has spread regardless of state or local edicts to counter it.
I am a scientist by background. It saddens me to say that science has been ruined by politics. Pure science is the practice of skepticism and the search for truth. Skepticism is no longer allowed. Truth is ignored. Politicians now declare science by edict, absent fact, and beat the rest of us over the head with it. This will be true for the “virus” just as it is for “global warming”.
Fake scientific consensus has now become a propaganda tool for totalitarians.
pics worth a thousand words...and thanks for the words with it. Watch out for the Karens and Kevincucks. My daughter-in-law (maskless) had a KAREN SCREAMINING at her 25 ft. away in the frozen food aisle at the local grocery store yesterday. She spoke back. Kevincuck said they were worried about catching the ‘rona. He shoulda had addadictomy surgery.
h/t R Limbaugh...love
Great scene. To be fair to his character, he/it couldn't help itself.
Oddly enough, so is Islam.........
A friend of mine use to carry a few index cards explaining the uselessness of masks and handed them out to any Karens or Kevins he encountered. That was early on in the mask hysteria, not sure he does that anymore. He is 87, and though healthy, probably not up for a fight.
That was my FB profile pic for about a week.
Lots of Walkers made cracks about it.
They got sent to the cornfield.
/it’s my party and I’ll block you if I want to
:D
Trainer burkas.
The mask is not protection from the virus.
The mask protects me from the demonrat freak shows around me and their wrath at my noncompliance to their no science nonsense.
Those true believers are utterly convinced the mask is the key to safety.
Whatever ... after losing weight these last few years, my wearing a mask helps hide the wrinkles in my face.
So I have repurposed their madness to suit my ego’s madness and it’s not so bad, I tell my self.
chubby Michigan Medusa is econommie terrorist extraordinaire. she might be kin to Rocket Man.

: ) Good Sal amander
Word out around here in SE Michigan lefties R starting to call ‘em Karens. Meme magic taking hold? Positive sign. Rules for Deplorables. Call Saul.
Now we are all supposed to wear them.
In Florida, when the mask mandates came out, authorities there had to figure out what to do with their law on the books about it being illegal to walk into a business wearing a face covering.
If caught in the act of a crime while wearing a mask could tack on a jail time twice the amount of the crime itself.
I am not sure how they resolved that, but all the mask stuff smacks of turning regular people into criminals, if you think about it long enough.
