How many higher risk people could have resisted it with prophylactic HCQ + zinc?

Fake news. There was a proposal before the AMA to make that admission. That proposal was not adopted.

That is not what the AMA said. They initially stated that doctors should not be using it because the risks outweighed the benefits. They then withdrew that statement citing lack of supporting evidence that the risks outweigh the benefits. They said nothing about it being effective. We do have known-effective treatments such as Ivermectin and monoclonal antibody treatments.

The data shows them to be pretty darn effective and I've seen no opposition to using them (except for the people demanding "natural cures", but they oppose all medical science).
