I was ‘trapped’ in a place Wednesday that had one of those daytime shows (The View???) on and some large Black lady was saying since a woman of color was on the lead team she would have no problem getting the first shot and if it were the usual ‘all White’ team she would probably wait.
Takes a bit to make me ‘speechless’ but that did floor me and I got to thinking what if Rush or any other ‘R’ celebrity or host said they were definitely not going to take the shot because a ‘woman of color’ was involved.
I only watch (in protest) snippets of daytime TV but I can imagine where people get there ‘mad’ from being locked up in front of the tube listening to that drivel all day......

But it’s about what you’d expect. Notwithstanding the progression towards legal impunity for black criminals, blacks continue to feel persecuted. Not much you can do about their deeply held prejudices, any more than you could reason a Jim Crow adherent out of his views. Our problem is that unlike Jim Crow segregationists, the population of black irreconcilables is increasing. The more privileges they get, the more they want. A demographic that was once too weak not to grant special privileges to is now too strong not to provide even more gibsmedat to.
