I have a chocolate pie recipe that will curl your eyebrows...I usually make it dark chocolate too. Some [real] whipped cream and it’s about 2 1/2 inches from heaven.
I also do Waldorf Chocolate Cream Pie. Three stage pie. It uses a butter crumble crust. Lower layer is a chocolate custard cream, mid-layer is a very rich and ghick chocolate mousse, top layer is chocolate whipped cream. Topping is genedrously sprinkled crushed walnuts. The pie is about four inches deep. Have the diabetic crash cart on hand. It is rich. My father, who was a master chef originated this recipe in 1940.
