Jacques is great. His shows with Julia Child are classic. I always felt bad when he had is daughter on. She would be chopping or sautéing something and he would ALWAYS correct her! Pretty funny.

In addition to being an excellent chef, he loves sharing what he knows and making home cooking accessible and enjoyable. He also seems like a genuinely nice guy. His autobiography, “The Apprentice,” is fascinating. He’s had quite a life.

Jacques is a loving daddy but definitely the Master Teacher when daughter Claudine was on. Definitely a Maestro of a brilliant chef. Sorry for his loss of lovely wife and mother.

He makes cooking looks so easy. I have tried making his French style omelette using his technique and fail miserably every time. His “easy” cooking takes lots of practice!

He went from rural French kid to cooking for Presidents and heads of state and then went to Howard Johnsons.
Rolled on and is still going, smiling with family and friends, amazing fellow
