Very good info. here — thanks for the post. The discussion is even unusually free of the usual rancor - a blessing. (I hope I have not jinxed the thread!)
I had called my Mom’s PCP today to ask what they might have found out about COVID-19 vaccinations for high risk non-health-care-pro individuals NOT in nursing homes (my Mom is 90 and living @ home in reasonably good health (for 90!), with sitters or family helping out). Unfortunately, they’ve apparently heard nothing yet. I asked if I should contact Mom’s County Health Dept., and the PCP’s nurse agreed with that.
Where family caregivers (part time in my case) rate on the vaccine priority list, I also do not know / have not yet been able to find out.
