Appeals to SCOTUS are always at the Court’s discretion. They can choose to grant certiorari or not. That was what was different about the Texas case, because suits between states are heard as part of the Court’s original jurisdiction — not on appeal.

Unless something major happens soon, I do not think SCOTUS will grant certiorari to this case or any other that has the potential to change the outcome of the November Presidential election.

They signaled with the Texas case that they do not plan to get involved.

Courts at all levels are acting like Pontius Pilate and trying to wash their hands of anything that might have to do with the results of the election.

It is on the docket because it was appealed there. It means absolutely nothing. The poster says “It’s on!” - no, it is not.
