I didn't assume that; I was responding to something posted on the internet.
We are, indeed, under attack from two (probably more) directions -- both internal and external.
My doubt is very high that any of those "threat vectors" would go nuclear. And, that is particularly true of China. They want what we have (and what they have invested in). I can't see China deliberately obliterating what they covet -- or rendering their own investments worthless...
IMO, the bogus blurb to which I responded came from our (and POTUS Trump's) internal (domestic) enemies -- in an attempt to demoralize us or distract us from our focus on destroying THEM!
