Now, we understand the Act includes other lower parts to it, regarding the presidential authority for bringing in armed soldiers to serve enforcement duty, for reasons different from violent bricks and stones destruction, setting fires and pillage, and mortally wounding city and state cops.

The delay may depend on what Trump believes. Does he decide he shall get the Win, first, and can wait? Does he believe the Coup can be completed and will not wait?

After January 20, he’ll he’d have no access to the levers of power. It would have to be a putsch. But before January 20, he can act to stop the violent hijacking of a nation. Indeed it would seem there must be a moment when it all comes down. So hard to imagine what that will or would be like.
