I trust you would approve of hotel managers not renting rooms to minorities: “Don’t want to play by their rules then don’t go to their hotels.”

Minorities are a protected class and are covered by anti-discrimination laws. Anti-maskers are not a protected class and are not covered. Simple as that.

Seems to me that the proprietors - in both cases - are denying commerce based on how you look.

The fact that one case has been previously adjudicated while the other case has not yet been considered legally seems beside the point.
