The ‘kraken’ is the sleeping giant now awakened within the GOP

When Republican electors across crucial swing states cast their electoral votes for Donald Trump in the face of the left’s insistence that Joe Biden won the election, I thought to myself: when did the GOP grow a spine?

On Monday, Republican electors in the battleground states of PA, GA, NV, and AZ convened to cast their electoral votes for Donald Trump. While this was a necessary step to stop the barrage of voter fraud across these states, I’ll admit, I was shocked that Republican electors did it.

For a long time, we’ve seen the GOP kowtow to Democrats on nearly every front. We’re censored by big tech, smeared in the media, mocked in popular culture, and endure malicious political prosecution, as in the cases of Michael Flynn and Kyle Rittenhouse. On the other side, Hillary Clinton destroyed 30,000 emails, federal bureaucrats broke countless laws in the Russian Collusion hoax, leftist radicals burned cities and attacked police, Obama weaponized the IRS against Republicans, and illegally imposed DACA. The rules are clear: Democrats can break the law whenever they want.

So, when Democrats got caught violating numerous state statutes and the U.S. Constitution to steal the 2020 election, and our judiciary has done little to stop it, the double-standard seemed all-too-familiar. The courts interpreting laws and past precedents loosely when advantageous to Democrats and more rigidly towards Republicans has been the standard for some time.

> If Texas seceded, who would fight us to keep us in the union?

I’d move to Texas if they seceded, unless my state joined them.

But what’s the 21st century way? State legislatures voted for secession back in 1861, but I imagine people would expect a Brexit-style referendum today. Hard to imagine that would pass, but I was surprised at the result of Brexit, so who knows?

And I honestly doubt the Fed would go to war to keep states from leaving in 2021. Now after several years of “Progressive” control and getting the “right” people in key positions throughout the military and other agencies, I think they would treat a seceding state like the USSR treated Hungary in 1956.

The Kraken is not a political meme. It is a prosecutorial tyerm, meaning Sidney is slicing into the fat of the criminal sedition and exposing the traitors via court actions we are about to witness once The President elect (there is only one ta a time and Trump is it right now) activates EO #13848 during this time of declared emergency. The resulting furor from the demon rats will need to be put down via force, likely from a military presence as the traitors are rounded up for rendition flights to club GITMO and other handy sites for military tribunals.

Is this a maneuver to keep the battle in front of the jellyfish-spined judges?

Courts have nothing to do with counting or certifying electoral votes.

I'm from Ohio where we get Dewine & Portman so I get it. The Republicans want to go back to the days of negotiation with the Democrats of giving away 90% of the conservative position to get the Democrats to the table, giving up another 5% so “we can work together to get things done”, and then the remaining 5% will be deferred to a future Congress in 10 years to look at. The Republicans will always tell you this is the best deal they can get for now but if you send them money when they get the majority in both Houses of Congress things will be different. Just remember in 2017 the Republicans did have both Houses of Congress and the White House and still delivered the 5% in the future deal that's the best they could do. So the Democrats were in the minority and got to they set the agenda. We can now say without a doubt that the Republicans don't listen to their base and look down at them as a bunch of rubes who need to manipulated so they can keep getting elected. The Republicans only care about the donors who want cheap imported labor, transitioning the majority of manufacturing to cheaper overseas countries, off loading health care costs to the Federal Government, and government that will allow the donors to control the markets and keep out or eliminate any competition. If the Republicans were really working for you they would have lined up behind the President instead of either hiding or opposing him as a “true principled Republican just like Abraham Lincoln putting country first over party”! Remember when when you hear a Republican piously declare “ I'm for country over party” it's the code for "I'm an establishment Washington insider who works for the donors and look down the base voters".

Even if Trump does manage to get a second term, I really, really hope that Ducey and Kemp are voted out. That would send a clear message.

Ducey is term-limited out in 2022, anyway - but he has got his eyes on the Senate.

If I understand this correctly, these four states put 49 electoral votes in play. On Jan 6 Vice President Pence presides over the counting and certifying of the elector college. In the case of two competing slates, the VP puts it to a vote of the congress which one to choose which means Republicans win 30 - 26 since the Repubs control more legislatures. That leaves Biden with a total of 251 v Trump’s 281 EC votes.

You’d think the media would be in more of an uproar over this but I guess they’re too uninformed to know what’s going on.

Somebody please correct me if I’m wrong about all this.

“For a long time, we’ve seen the GOP kowtow to Democrats on nearly every front.”

I believe that is because both parties use to play the “I win this time and you win the next time but we all stay in power”. Now the Republicans realize that the Democrats are in a position, if they get Georgia’s senate candidates, to make the US a one party Democratically controlled socialist state forever.

"It has always puzzled me why we keep electing useless RINOs like Lamar Alexander and Governor Lee."

Craptons of personal $$ (or access to establishment $$), no party registration to close the primaries and no runoffs.

The Kraken is not a ‘political metaphors’, it is an investigative meme. And who is that little girl in the gif? Is she someone ‘the public’ should recognize?
