Any time a liberal candidate is elected to become President of the United States, gun rights and regulations take center stage. Historically, gun sales have surged in the two months between a Democratic presidential nomination and inauguration. And that’s precisely what we’re seeing right now.
A Quick Primer on the Second Amendment
Whenever gun laws and regulations become a key topic of conversation, it’s important to push past the filler and focus on the meat. In other words, start with the Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights and what it says:
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
That’s it -- nothing more and certainly nothing less. It’s 27 simple words, passed by Congress in 1789, ratified in 1791, and held as law for nearly two and a half centuries.
First off, the right to bear arms is an insurance policy against a government that could potentially become too onerous. And as the American government continues to grow and tighten its grip on its citizens, having the means to overthrow the government (if necessary) is more important and relevant than ever before. (Nobody is saying it’ll ever come to this, but having this option is something that’s integral to protecting the rights of the citizenry.)
Secondly, the right to bear arms gives citizens personal protection against domestic enemies. In the early days of this country, there was no state or national police force -- particularly in rural areas. Instead, wanted criminals had bounties placed on their names and armed citizens were expected to capture them. Armed citizens were also expected to protect their own homes (and help protect their neighbors in times of need).

There certainly seems to be a desire to start with military style weapons. Everyone should know where it will go from there. I wonder if there are any ARs left on dealer shelves.
Biden will never be President
He tries to push forward in any kind of a significant way, it is likely the beginning of the end of the anti gun movement.
They will be goombye.
There isn’t going to be a Biden presidency. The Trump train is rolling towards the 12th Amendment and there is nothing that can derail it.
He may not be President, but he will be Fraudulent and we have not been able to stop him yet.
The whole goal.of the anti-gunners is not to make any big and sudden changes. Just like the anti-smoking. Just slight economic pressures and small legislation changes that seem like nothing, but ends up with a small number of people voluntarily giving up their guns, until such a small number, relatively speaking,of gun owners exist that their rights can be in acted without consequence.
Plugs would now last long with his health conditions. We the people are fed up with the demomnicrat communists. Heavily armed demonstrations would support the second amendment and be an open defiance to communist governments.
Dumb article.
“Well regulated militia, necessary for a free state”
Well folks, the bad news is that without free and fair elections you can’t have a Republic. Without a Republic, you don’t have a bill of rights.
Fact is, we don’t have a free state. So why have militia or guns?
Reality is that the second amendment was impinged more times than I can count. They have to come for guns now before people realize the government is doing stuff the people need guns for, and information about the election festers.
He may become President but he will never be my President.
I will never believe that it was a fair election.
Nothing like picking a fight with people who have guns.
I’m not ready to give up, but assuming we can’t beat this fraud, the real question is what will happen to gun rights under a Harris presidency?
You’re right. He never will be THE President. He’s a sock puppet for the powers that be.
The British demanded we give up our guns.
We shot them.
On day 1, Biden will “ban” 80% lowers. Why? Because Patriots with “untraceable” weapons is the biggest obstacle to confiscation. And confiscation is ALWAYS required early on in a socialist takeover of a country.
ALWAYS.
So get yours now, if you can find one. Good luck. They are scarce.
The British demanded we give up our guns.
We shot them.
‘Tis quite true.
If you recall, she stated during the campaign what she would do.
Some states like Florida do not have background checks for private gun sales between residents. No paper trail there either.
