Time and time again throughout the bible we see example after example of the proud and mighty being brought down by their own schemes through the smallest and most meek of God’s chosen.
Herod, Nebuchadnezzar, Saul of tarsus... all had an “ahem” correction at the hand of the almighty.
it happens.
Justice CAN be met out in this earth.
Remember the unjust judge parable in the Gospels... the widow woman gave him NO REST, until he could not stand it any longer... “and will not God, avenge his saints who call to him day and night” Yes he will and speedily
Sometimes, as a nation, we want the savior... but he sees that we need the judge.
Just keep giving him no rest. he will act.
