I taught at Samuel J Tilden High School in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Can’t believe they named a high school after that guy.

Side note: Tilden High was the school that served as a location in the movie The Lords of Flatbush, Sylvester Stallone’s first movie. Also, and more famously, it is Reverend Al’s alma mater.

Tilden was my neighborhood H.S.; most of my friends went there, but I went to B’klyn Tech.
