Every so often I am thankful again for my deep, ingrained fear of heights.

THIS!!!!!
I get weak knees just looking at the overlook area on a computer screen!
Every year, people fall off of a local spot called High Rock in PenMar park.
This will never happen to me because it's impossible to fall off the edge when you're always a good 2 miles from it, in the first place.
I haven't been there since I was 30 or so, and then, only because I was a prisoner on the back of the Harley and it was part of a poker run route.

If the free-fall time is I get than "whoops!", I don't want to fall from it.
Same. I have some photos my daughters asked if I was close to the edge. Told them no. I could fall, bounce and roll before I got to the edge.
