To: Alas Babylon!

“Didn’t Wanda, as the daughter of Magneto, take away all of the mutant’s powers in the House of M comic book series?”

I believe so. My interest in comics was waning at the time and there were so many tie-ins among the title, I didn’t follow it all that closely.

Scarlet Witch, according to Feige, is now the most powerful character in the MCU. He had, not long ago, said that Captain Marvel was. There are rumors that Brie Larson has cooties, and may not be around much longer. However, she is committed to Captain Marvel 2, a film that has, I believe a schedule 2022 release date.

There are scores of Marvel storylines that are crying to be made into movies. I’m sure many will over the next decade.

Make Mine Marvel! Xcelsior.

*** I’m sure many will over the next decade.***

In the olden days there were few super-hero movies, and those that were made were usually given a “B” for Budget, done in black and white with chintzy special effects and shown on the bottom of a double bill with Hercules and the Amazon Maidens at a drive in theater.

Here is one of the most ridiculous from the 1960s.

Now they are given top rating financing even with absurd story lines and top of the line CGI.

Today’s youth truly live in a world of fantasy.
