Animal rescuers in New York City said they rounded up 10 domesticated ducks that were apparently abandoned in a city park.
The city parks department's Urban Park Rangers teamed up with animal rescue group They All Want to Live to rescue the 10 ducks that were apparently illegally abandoned in a pond at Bowne Park.
The domesticated ducks, which can't fly or find food without assistance, were rounded up by rescuers in canoes.
Rescuers said they were concerned the ducks would not survive if the pond froze.
Feed’em gravey train never mind the invisible dog.
Lucky Ducks. A predator was just about to add some of them to his evening Menu. They were literally sitting ducks, helpless and naive.
Lol!
True Confession: I love morbid jokes!
I hate when my ducks get dumped. Stupid hens. Who do they think they are?
“Other than that, how did you like the restaurant?”
Why did the park attack them in the first place?
“The domesticated ducks, which can’t fly or find food without assistance...”
A person would almost have to be from NYC to believe a story that stupid.
A person would almost have to be from NYC to believe a story that stupid.
I took this to mean that they could fly - with assistance.
Regards,
Sorry: I don't get the joke.
Is the hand placing the carton of Chinese take-out (looks more like a pizza box) into her apartment, or removing it?
And she hears that and thinks that it's her cat, named "Pumpkin?"
Regards,
The hand is placing a menu for a Chinese restaurant. Her missing emergency pot roast is now Chinese food.
101c ways to WOK your duck. Since they can’t fly?
Daffy, calling Wile E. Coyote...
I was driving through a somewhat rural area the other day. There were signs for a lost cat on almost every telephone pole for about a half mile.
I told my wife that there’s a well fed fox somewhere nearby. Nature y’all
Drop ‘em out of a helicopter and find out.
Foxes gotta eat too!
"As God is my witness..."
