I still have one actually but the speaker went out. Otherwise I think it should work. I loved it. Also got my tech license back in the day. Tech is just voice.

I just got my general a few weeks ago, and I'm in the process of building up a little station. I'll have a multi band off-center fed 80/40/20/17/10 meter antenna up soon. I was a Tech for about 10 years, and recently decided to up it to General.

I took the "extra class" exam also, but that is a whole new level of complexity.

Maybe some day, I'll actually get on the air and broadcast something.
