It looks like the group in the center is supposed to be a family--grandparents on one side and probably two of their married children with spouses on the other, but the young girl in the middle seems to be drinking wine (maybe 8 years old). Better than gin, I guess. Or maybe it is cherry Coke.

What are the side scenes supposed to represent? Helping the needy at Christmastime?
