This holiday season you may want to diversify your normal beer consumption and try out a seasonal holiday brew.
But there can be so many beers to choose from, you may not know where to start. To make your decision easier, I decided to put five widely available holiday beers to the test.
I sampled Samuel Adams' Winter Lager, the Shiner Holiday Cheer Bavarian-style dark wheat from Spoetzl Brewery, Sierra Nevada's Celebration Fresh Hop IPA, Harpoon's Winter Warmer Holiday Ale, and New Belgium Brewing's Accumulation White IPA.
Here are the five holiday beers I tried, ranked from my least favorite to my favorite.

what? No Old Milwaukee on the list? No black label? No Schlittz? What kind of list is this?

"F... THAT S...! PABST BLUE RIBBON!"
Here I sit drinking a Miller Highlife, cuz they were out of Genesee Ice.
I like PBR just fine, last time I found it in TX it was $8 a case in long neck bottles.
I bought 2 cases, I should have bought it all
It is said that Great Lakes Oktoberfest is one of the best of the fall Marzens.
I will have to seek it out!
Dunno why but that link redirects back here.
I get a case or two every year.
???
Loved this review:
Overall the Pabst Blue Ribbon Extra is a fine beer, Previous reviewers chain it is too sweet, it should be called a malt beverage because of the 6.5 Alc/Vol etc etc
I am craft beer drinker, a home brewer and let me tell you there are professional craft breweries out there who brew their beer and they are terrible compared to Pabst Blue Ribbon Extra
In closing, there are many tastes out there so l understand this beer is not for everyone
Please stay healthy and well
Might be on my end but the new link worked.
I am absolutely not a beer lover. However, at Myrtle Beach, SC, there is a place that makes an absolutely delicious Raspberry Wheat Ale. They only make it in the summer time, it’s a microbrew.
I’ve tried a bottled one and it’s just not the same.
I on the other hand make a delicious strawberry wine. Unfortuneately, the recipe is only for a gallon and you loose some in the processing. I’ve begun saving up strawberries in the freezer so I can make another batch.
The HTML looked fine but it redirected to this post.
You like it fruity? I’ll fetch you a Hefeweizen with a twist of orange... :)
Yeah that was a misfire. Cold garbage.
You should try Old Myron Antoliks Rhubarb Wine
It was awful
Tom T. Hall likes beer—he has even sung about it. But has he ever said what his favorite beer is?
