Jees Greeneyes, it always works in the movies. Girl gets hysterical: boy slaps her hard; girls snaps out of it and gives the boy a big hug. :)
I tried that, I remembered seeing it in a John Wayne movie. It didn’t work out so well.

The only thing I can think happened wrong is that the girl wasn’t as hysterical as she needed to be before you applied your fix. Because in the movies it always works.
No, I was being rewarded for something very stupid. She was angry for a good reason. I was impressed too.
