I do not believe sociopaths they make excellent _anything_, except some of them may be good at basket weaving.
If you have ever worked for one of them, no further explanation is necessary.
They destroy morale.

But again, I compare it to black and white thinking. It is a strength in some ways and a weakness in others. They would make lousy general practitioners but perhaps excellent brain surgeons.
I base that on this description: “People with ASPD can’t understand others’ feelings. They’ll often break rules or make impulsive decisions without feeling guilty for the harm they cause.”
This lack of empathy can make it easy for a military leader to send men to their death at a place like Omaha beach.
But the bottom line is that I really should not say “Sociopath”, but “a person that leans to sociopathic tendencies.” And even then, I’m mainly focusing on the “lack of empathy” facet rather than the “being mean just for the fun of it” facet.
