I dont understand that ANYONE is asked “what kind of ballet” in a general election. It should be one ballot for all in a precinct.

In Mar at the primary, I was surprised that there was only one table n we were in line with all others. I signed in on Republican list n got my ballot. I noticed that some people were being offered a paper in addition to their ballot. I asked for one n was told it was only for Democrats. The poll workers were handing out the details for their meeting before the state convention.

I did report the incident. Next time, I will raise a ruckus!

Primaries are for the parties to choose their candidate to put up for the general election. As such, I don't see why the State needs to be hosting these elections at all.

In Michigan, some years the parties have a Caucus instead of a primary election. The State of Michigan doesn't host the Caucus gatherings. Why should the State of Michigan host a primary election?
