And then there is that. I pray that God’s will is that the SCOTUS does their job.

General Lee prayed a very similar prayer when the North welshed on the deal they made with the southern states and drove them to war.

Lee was on the right side of the argument, and yet God’s will was that the North was going to be allowed to break their deal.

Now here we are.

Maybe this is the event. This is the trigger of the collapse of the US, leaving Israel alone in the world.

It makes sense to me. God protects Israel, not the US. The only way Israel is made to understand that eventually is that the US goes away, and Israel is alone to face its enemies.

Again, we tend to look at these things from our own worldview, when in the end we all serve God. We don’t have to like His plan, but we all need to follow it confident that in doing so we’re going to Heaven.

As such, whether the US continues or not doesn’t matter as much as the destination, Heaven.

What about our kids? There’s a reason they call it ‘The Infantry’ - our kids always pay the price. Always.

For the record, I hope it’s not the hour. I hope we get another five decades or so in His grace and our kids get a shot at having their kids.

Sometimes you pray, and God says ‘Sorry sweetie, see you soon.’

Pray anyway.
