About three weeks ago, Keith Olbermann said that "Trump, his enablers, and his supporters need to be arrested and removed from society. That's pretty much a verbatim quote, and similar sentiments have been expressed by Jennifer Rubin, Robert Reich, and Rick Larson, all of them public figures and at least three of them very well known to people who follow the news and current events.

Calling to mind the worst excesses of totalitarian regimes, there has also been talk of "truth commissions" and "re-education camps" for Trump and his supporters, and - to my knowledge - none of this over-the-top rhetoric has been condemned in the MSM.

So we have prominent people - not obscure Internet trolls - seemingly advocating for concentration camps or even death camps for tens of millions of people, not because those people supported a mass murderer or a tyrant, but because they supported a man who put America first and fought back against his critics, sometimes with harsh rhetoric, but rhetoric - harsh as it sometimes was - which usually did not match the ugliness of his critics. .
