I’m thinking the “bread and circuses” is icky sticky Hollywood and the spectacle of an entertainment industry that has evidently been showered with all kinds of preferential treatment (they get covid tests in priority over the medical community). The mission is clear, either they believe their own propaganda or else they are supposed to inflict it on us, or they believe it and have decided that we all need to drink the kool-aid too, who can say.

Covid tests are a good thing. Masks are a good thing. The vaccine is a fantastic thing. Not shutting down again because we have stopped acting like idiots is also a good thing. What is not a good thing is preaching that public health is a myth and that self-absorption is the only true thing.

As economy matures, saving is vilified and consumption is valued in order to get GDP going. It is inevitable that saving will dwindle.

We Won’t Be 2020’d!

Save you fear and crises for a real threat. Foreign Invasion and Takeover? Treasonous Coup? Famine, War, Mob Rule? 99.6% recovery rate is challenging for the the elderly and infirm but not the crisis they have sold us.
