My mother, now deceaswd, always would have Christmas lights and a party to celebrate, and she would always invite the Jewish neighbors,

She and Betty, were the best of friends, and they would gossip about the neighbor.

My god, have times have changed

Liberalism is a mental disease. It replaces the worship of the true God with that of the state. Abortion is the blood sacrifice to Satan all liberals fight to maintain.

When you understand the level of evil involved, nothing liberals say or do will surprise you.

Everyone needs to decorate their cars with lights and have nightly car parades with Christmas music blaring.

Too many Grinches out there trying to force other people to be as miserable as they are. Just because they have no values, religion or traditions they hold dear, doesn’t mean everyone else has to live that way. I hope they put up even more lights, and piss the scumbags off royally.

Absolutely, tear down the lights. Let’s not let anyone remove the damper some folks want to put on everything. We have an obligation to be as angry, down and depressed as people like this.

Post WW-II neighborhood.

Many survivors. Different backgrounds and beliefs, except a lot of common sense re getting along together.

It was tradition, that if a neighbor of some different religion and/or faith, asked if you would like to go along to their house of worship . . . you could either accept or decline, and nobody was upset.

Usually, some family would go along at least once, as a show of moral support. My folks did that.

Before the US declared war in December 1941, USAAC General Hap Arnold had “recruited” some individuals from the training command, and had them sent out on a few missions.

One mission, was an emergency effort to get support to the Philippines. A group of guys from the training command in Texas, showed up in the PI, to help with satellite airfield operations.

Another mission, was to fly around the globe and create new maps - there was so much unknown.

These fellows saw a lot, of the different ways of local life.

At Normandy, June 6, 1944, Democrats and Republicans, Christians and Jews, plus some others, all went ashore to fight fascist socialists aka “NAZI’s.”

My brother-in-law, an Irishman, Democrat, was 17 years old.

My neighbor to the west of our house, likewise fought all the way across France.

To the west of that neighbor, a couple from England, who were RADAR researchers who had helped set up the original RADAR NET for defending England.

All of them, whether or not they considered themselves Christians; and after what they had seen and been through, there was one page from which they all read:

They respected Jesus, despite their personal beliefs and doubts; and they knew the blessings of Christmas.

That despite appearances, Jesus has an amazing ability to be the good shephard, though we wonder that we wander too far.

I think we all ought to double the amount of lights we put up AND keep them up until AFTER Trump is re-inaugurated.

And I see the queer Michigan AG said her boy broke down in tears when someone said, "Merry Christmas" to him in a store, implying is was a horrible thing to do.

Sounds like bad parenting to me.

But it makes one wonder where these cretins come from.

I really couldn’t care less about Christmas, but checking out the neighborhood lights doesn’t ‘trigger’ me...a novelty to admire.
