My best guess has already been posted. That is basically that before this change in status Durhan could only bring people to trial in CT, since he is US Attorney for CT. Now that he has special prosecutor status he can do that shiite anywhere he wants to.
Interesting. Sounds reasonable to me.
Once I saw an anon post about it, it all clicked. It totally makes sense.
And that means they are ready for the prosecution phase. The grand jury phase may well be over, or at least most of it.
I’m not predicting anything, because we’ve all learned the hard way with that. But all signs point to this.
