Well, ultimately Trump controls the DOJ. Publicly he’s taken a hands off approach, but I think that’s mostly just for optics. Ultimately Barr and Durham work for Trump. Surely there’s been enough time by now for Durham to have at least some indictments ready to be served. Ultimately, if POTUS had wanted indictments by now, I think we would have seen them.
Agree - to a point. While Barr/Durham work for Trump. They are supposed to be independently doing their jobs. The head of the DOJ isn’t the same as being the director of the other Agencies. Only, they don’t appear to be doing their jobs at all.
I think that President Trump told Barr and Durham to hold off for now because he figures the American people are at the tipping point, and he’s right.
We are being squashed between Rhona and The Election. Some folks are just barely holding onto their sanity. Heck, in some states, people can’t even go out for a walk or a run to relieve the stress.
PDJT is, on top of everything else, looking out for his base. I suspect once the election is almost settled we’ll be getting some reports and most importantly, some arrests.
