I’m a Medical Tech and worked through the worst of the
“pandemic.”
From March up to the present we have had to wear PPE
including face masks (double face masks now.)
I finally ended up catching it, and was out of work
for 18 days. It was like the flu yes, but what was
really scary was how fast my lungs filled up.
I lost my sense of taste and everything tasted blah!
We were mostly free of it right up until November.
Before that, we were clear of it and did NOT accept
any patients who were positive with it.
We have now lost 11 patients.
Who knows who brought it in?!
