I drink coconut water because it has very good levels of potassium. It has raised my potassium levels to normal (in doctor ordered blood tests). Coconut water has fewer calories than bananas, and much more potassium. Coconut water had the highest level of potassium per serving of any food I found in researching the topic. Potassium works with hemoglobin and is essential to feeling well.

I didn’t know about raising potassium. Good to know. A lot of meds raise potassium too. That’s why doctors often monitor potassium levels regularly with certain meds are prescribed. Too much potassium can be bad. Like all things, you have to be in the good range.

For your case, it sounds like a perfect solution. It’s a natural remedy and also tastes good. It’s also now easy to find. I see it available in stores all over now.
