105? Child’s play. Give me the regular ol’ seasonal shot and I’m good for 105.5+ and a trip the the ER. Happened three times to me so I skip the thing.
Wonder how it’s gonna work for me when this vaccine becomes mandatory (or, at least, functionally mandatory)?
My mother has a sensitivity to egg whites, which is what the flu vaccine serum is based in. A few years ago, she went to receive a pneumonia vaccine (not egg-based) and was mistakenly given the flu shot. She has suffered inflammatory and auto-immune problems for the past 3-4 years, which all started after that incorrect shot. She is literally in a panic right now about this COVID vaccine because she does not want to take it. She is living in an independent/assisted living facility and they are probably going to require it. She’s talking about moving out after we just recently moved her in there. I don’t know what we’re going to do.
One of our TN legislators is introducing a bill to forbid the vaccine from becoming mandatory. It’ll be interesting to see how that shakes out. They were interviewing him this morning and he made some good sense.
