” a $23,976 brunch tab at the Sheraton Waikiki to celebrate Louis Kealoha’s induction as Honolulu Police Chief in 2009.”
How is that possible? Were the charges tabulated on a Dominion machine?
Charging an innocent with a crime has become the American way since 2016.
I’m sorry, but we are going to have to start hanging thieves.
There are too many of them and they aren’t afraid of having to go to prison.
Thievery is a gateway crime. They had to commit other crimes because of their thievery.
Hey, another case of the “do nothing DOJ”
Looks like this case and scenario went on for 10 years?
“I’m sorry, but we are going to have to start hanging thieves.

Its possible if you have a lavish banquet for a large department.
Or, a smaller, more intimate gathering at “The French Laundry” a la Gavin Newsome.
$230 each for 100 people..?
a $23,976 brunch tab....They be Hongry.
Book ‘em, Danno, ... oh, wait, Danno is one of ‘em.
Those sentences are W A Y T O O S H O R T.
That is one way to factor 23,000.
Whatever he did, it’s a big tab, even as a percentage of what was stolen.
I believe not! Hawaii 5-0 was Hawaii State Police not Honolulu city police. Still, your comment was inevitable!
“How is that possible? Were the charges tabulated on a Dominion machine?”
As I recall, the Sheraton Waikiki is ridiculously expensive.
If they had been tabulated on a dominion machine nobody would have been arrested. Our DOJ doesn’t look at Dominion.
An island full of festering Dem Pols.
How is any of this a surprise?
Hopefully they’ll serve in general population.
Where they can enjoy the company of other people they sent there.
Looks like hawaii is becoming a banana...er...pineapple republic....I guess they want tourists only...cannot convince me many of the peeps (future targets of other imperial regimes) over there are loyal to u.s.a. Where’s Chad Gates, now that we need him?
What’s the big deal....they’re democrats....this is what they do!!!
I watched a 1949 film "Flamingo Road" last night.
It was pretty much the same story as this article presents. So this is much older than 2016.
