Thanks. This is a very watered-down right of recall. Better than nothing, but uphill all the way, requiring substantial monetary backing, due to the cost of hiring lawyers and canvassing for signatures. I’m impressed that anyone not either seriously loaded or backed by moneyed interests even bothers.

Durkan wants her recalled, so the WASC will sustain the ruling of the Seattle Superior Court Judge. The only issue is will she be recalled by the voters in her city council district.

Since there was just a general election in November, getting enough signatures might be a problem. If they get enough signatures, getting people who oppose her to vote will not be easy. The radicals will turn out in force.
