it many get that ill but for those that do it’s devastating. May our Lord comfort you
Maybe someone should inform Fauci and Redfield about anti Covid 19 drugs being used worldwide with excellent results. Why is the USA still in the dark??????
Pandemic would be over and life would have returned to normal months ago.
Molnupiravir...
As an aside, who the heck comes up with the names for these drugs?
Hang on!
I just read on Another.Conspiracy.That.Conservatives.Will.Believe.com
That Bill Gates and Soros spit in the batches of this drug and it lowers a man’s sperm count by 99.9999999990%.........
Reject this quackery!

Agreed, but wasn’t remsivider the drug president went on? It probably has some value, but its not looking good as a fix for covid. This new antiviral sounds promising, at least what little has been reported so far. Not sure how many folks have trialed it for side effects yet, but the ones that have seem to tolerate the it well so far
Why is the USA still in the dark??????
Trump derangement syndrome plain and simple. The left hate Trump so much they are willing for tens of 1000s to die so that he doesn’t get any credit for helping to end the pandemic. Many liberals truly are very sick, vile, and deranged individuals. They do their father, the evil ones will, whether knowingly or unknowingly. They are truly evil people
Shaniqua and Saquon’s mother...
A man called Vonsnodwunderblast the 3rd
In a word, no. President Trump took an experimental blood anti-body 'transfusion', which did the heavy lifting. The Remdisivir helps damaged lung tissue caused in the fatal stages of CoVId-19. The drug in this study doesn't let the disease get that far. I suspect Pres. Trump took it to appease Dr. Death as a 'favor'.
Thanks for the ping
I highly doubt his team of physicians had Fauci on their minds when treating the President of the US! lol
I am so sorry to hear it! I don’t understand why a small percentage of healthy people get taken out with it.
Was he able to try hydroxychloroquine?
Hmmm, lost this one in the shuffle. Better late than never, I suppose...Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
The false positive rate was 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Quarantine the sick. Protect the vulnerable. Free everyone else.
The COVID-19 vaccine may spell the end of the pandemic, but while mass vaccination is not available it is vital to stop community transmission.
The new antiviral drug MK-4482 / EIDD-2801 or Molnupiravir, has managed to suppress "completely" the transmission of the coronavirus in just 24 hours ,
according to studies by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of Georgia State University.
Molnupiravir was originally designed to treat the flu and prevent the virus from making copies of itself, creating errors during viral RNA replication.
The experts detail that tests were carried out on ferrets and it was observed that they presented a reduction in the amount of viral particles.
Then those ferrets were put with others that had not been treated.
None of the ferrets in the second group became infected with COVID-19.
The drug can be taken orally, and treatment can be started early for a triple potential benefit: inhibiting patients' progress to severe disease,
shortening the infectious phase to alleviate the emotional and socioeconomic cost of prolonged patient isolation,
and containing quickly local outbreaks.
Molnupiravir is currently in advanced phase II / III clinical trials.
It is being tested in three different doses every 12 hours for five days in patients with SARS-CoV-2.
I like the sounds of this better than the vaccine.
I currently take Quercetin, zinc, C, d3 among others as a preventative measure.
I’m not sure that ivermectin couldn’t have a similar effect. Not as quickly, but seems like it could significantly drop Rt properly used.
Are you in my medicine cabinet?
Seriously, I’m pretty close to the prophylactic recommendation here:
https://www.evms.edu/media/evms_public/departments/internal_medicine/EVMS_Critical_Care_COVID-19_Protocol.pdf
“we do think that in terms of reduction of viral burden, it’s very likely that molnupiravir will be superior to remdesivir,” Perlmutter said.
Isn’t that a very low bar? I hope it’s better than that.
