how many people have had to be corrupted for this unimaginably blatant and widespread farce to be promoted as the truth.

Suppose I told you that a handful of billionaires could make this happen.

They would need to own all major media outlets (directly or through straw owners).

They would need to bribe public officials in key states (probably a couple hundred officials would be good enough).

They would need to have friends at the NSA and CIA (on the take as well) who could give them blackmail files on politicians who refused to play along...

If the billionaires are evil enough, easy peasy.
