I an sure the “Texts” was “Texas” and I am sure the intent was to hurry the process before the Californians have a chance to change the state from Red to Blue...though I admit the cities have never had much regard for the ‘burbs or the Conservatives who loved the countryside.

Absolutely. All Texans should call their state officials and ask them point blank what the plan is to protect us from the crap that will be rolling downhill from the NE. If they get more than 5 seconds of silence, then they need to start talking secession.
