I retired a couple of years ago, and when I look back on it I am amazed by all the stupid and irritating things my employer required.

How about long business trips on awful airlines and waiting hours in miserable airports and mediocre hotels?

How about wasting my time in incredibly stupid meetings and pretending to care what some brain dead big shot had to say?

and I could go on....

So vaccinations as a condition of employment would just be one more insult.

Of course, you can not mention any travel, but that can get you fired, and it'd be hit or miss if a court found that legitimate or not.
What I would do, if you do hit this, is file for unemployment. State workforce commissions confirm with the employer that you weren't fired for cause, and it hits their UI account, and employers don't like that. At all. If enough people do that, the employer can get hit with a higher UI tax rate, which can hit them for hundreds to tens of thousands of dollars for years, depending on how big they are, and how much UI is being claimed.
