There’s not a place to mark down “related to COVID” on a US Standard Certificate of Death. Sec 31 Part II is probably the closest thing, but that section is only reflected in stats related to comorbidities. It isn’t part of the UCOD or the immediate cause of death chain from Part 1.

A friend's invalid, homebound wife went to the doctor's office, was tested for COVID although she had no symptoms. The results came back positive and now she is in the COVID wing in the hospital. Husband is healthy.
Suspicious to me.
