They investigated the president for a crime of which they knew him to be innocent while they knew that their bogus pursuit was instigated by Hillary Clinton who actually did commit the crime complained of.
Although they knew the president to be Innocent of the fundamental crime, they nevertheless accused that innocent man of obstructing their bogus investigation, that is, they wanted to convict him of obstructing an investigation of a crime of which he was not guilty and of which they knew him not to be guilty.
Ditto the case of General Flynn whom they similarly coerced into pleading guilty to a crime they knew him to be innocent of.
All the while Muller/Weisman knew Hillary was guilty but covered for her and all the while they knowingly pursued the investigation so that the Democrats could win the House of Representatives in 2018. They also succeeded in handcuffing the president so he could not perform his constitutional role as chief law enforcement officer of the land and actually control the nefarious activities of the Department of Justice and the FBI.
