Shows you're an amateur lightweight right there. Colloidal silver is not ‘ground up silver’.

Ha ha, so my first post on the subject regarding my friend was prescient, “He actually grinds up silver coins himself and stirs it up into some kind of shake. So it might not count to the purists here.”

The first result from a search for the definition of “colloidal silver” yeilded this from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, “What Is Colloidal Silver? Colloidal silver consists of tiny silver particles in a liquid that is sometimes promoted on the Internet as a dietary supplement. However, evidence supporting health-related claims is lacking. In fact, colloidal silver can be dangerous to your health.”

I agree that government agencies are not always the greatest source of information, but in this instance there does seem to be a great deal of consistency from both government and private sources... Eating silver whether it is dissolved in solution by chemically creating nano-particles or grinding it into a fine powder and stirring it into a milk shake like drink is stupid and will most likely result in health issues. As someone who spent a lot of years as the senior officer on a big city Hazmat Team... I second that conclusion.

Here's a slew of colloidal silver research & clinical studies focusing mainly on the subject of wound healing/dressings:

Silver based antibacterial compounds have a very long history of medical use. In my youth my mother who is an RN who taught at a hospital based school of nursing had some in the medical cabinet. But she didn't advocate eating them. Most of us over the age of 5 realize that topical ointments that are meant to be helpful for wound care... do not make an appropriate snack. That is why we store medical ointments in a medicine cabinet that is difficult for children to get into.

You did not provide even one link as requested. Your post consisted mostly of your nonsensical rambling along with a large volume of cut and pasted material from a website or websites that you for some reason you chose not to share a link to...

I am merely directing attention to those that engage their big mouth keyboards before engaging their brains. We want FR to be smart. These posters demean the forum.

Your rambling mostly described your distrust of everyone and every organization who/which disagrees with your position. The only thing that your post made clear is that you are a nut who demeans anyone or any organization that posts information which contradicts your nuttiness. I would not trust you anywhere near my medicine cabinet... I bought that A/D ointment to help a cut or abrasion heal not for a kid or a nut to eat.

==>>> John (Jack) Killen, Jr., M.D., NCCIH wrote the content of your pasted health graffiti.

In 1987 he moved to the Division of AIDS at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

That’s Fauci turf. If you are a Fauci fan, then say so.

Killen is a DC swamp lizard. He’s in the federal leech category. Little or no practice experience, but for sure has power to award grant money to ‘his selectees’, likely getting speaking fees and perks as kickbacks. It’s a verifiable fact Fauci hasn’t seen a patient in more than 30 years, likely the same for Killen. When you’re in the business, that’s a red flag.

Know these truths:

When one obtains a PhD degree and they can’t keep up with peers, they might become Deans of Colleges because it’s all they can handle.

When one obtains a law degree and can’t make it in the private sector, they apply for a government job and sometimes can find a hard to fill judgeship. There are exceptions but unfortunately, there are not enough exceptions.

When one obtains an MD degree and can’t make it in the private sector, they apply for a government job or find an advisory, regulatory, communications slot in a pharma company or health insurer.

Military PhDs, JDs, and MDs are a different breed. They are almost always top shelf and the problem with them is there are not enough of them.

The long and short is when reading government ‘information’, check its source and if you don’t know much about the source, hold that information in a suspense file, to be used to compare with sources you do trust.

Ok, that’s enough of this. Nothing personal but I have no more time for you. Good luck with your self-education or polemicals.
