If you are having congestion that backs up badly and for no reason, I can say serrapeptase is an enzyme that helps clear arteries and has the strange effect of clearing up nasal cavities and lungs. I can say it so dried mine up that I was afraid I wasn't left with enough to properly line my insides, although I never felt dry or had any issues. It can also break down fibrin, which is what makes up scars.

It is distantly related to nattokinase and lumbrokinase, which function in similar ways on fibrin, but didn't have the same effect on congestion.

I looked up Serrapeptase and it does what it does because it is an anti inflammatory. That makes perfect sense for all of the things you two found it useful for.
