Food for thought.
It is a sad, sad world when children can’t be children.
It’s especially sad because childhood goes by so quickly. I had been lamenting (before Covid) that kids are young for such a short period of time. They change so quickly. Losing a year is a huge for children.
People were not kidding when they warned me that “it all goes so fast!!”
OK - so who left the gun out where anyone could reach it? Guns don't load themselves. This 11 year old boy found the gun and killed himself with it - leaving a loaded firearm within reach of children, it has to be mentioned, is a violation of every NRA safety class, every military training class, every police safety video. My "house gun" is kept in an electronically encrypted pistol safe, bolted to my nightstand. A round is not chambered and no one knows the combination but me.
The person who left that pistol loaded and accessible is responsible for this child's death.
The isolation is truly horrible for children.
One of the (not so odd) things in my county in the relatively free state of Florida is that the teachers union has kept up a steady stream of “fear porn” directed at teachers, even though there’s absolutely no factual foundation for this. So the public schools are barely open, or at best do some indifferent, poorly attended on-line stuff.
Strangely, the virus doesn’t seem to affect Catholic schools or most of the private schools here. They have in-person learning (even though they’ve had to jump through idiotic city hoops, such as plexiglass desk shields) and I’ve even seen the kids out on the playgrounds doing sports. I guess it only affects you if you are a member of the UFT or its local teachers union branch.
Maybe they should all quit the union now and they’ll be immune?
Big government run amuck, terrible suffering from senseless edicts, election fraud being overlooked, sheeple doing nothing and our representatives are awol.
Everything resulting from this lockdown pandemic is a horror show. And now an 11 year old child is dead. There certainly was negligence in leaving a gun around that he could access. He should’ve been in school, not looking at a zoom screen.
That fits within your political narrative. My two children are distance learning all day and they are doing well academically and mentally because my wife and I help them, keep them fed and amused - and carefully monitor their moods and needs. Both kids are straight-A students.
Diseases are serious business and if isolation keeps my kids and us breathing, then so be it.
Keeps us breathing.... Oh please!
This covid crap is the biggest fraud since y2k.
Good luck.
We know MANY families with younger children who’ve had to do the China Flu distance learning, at some point.
NONE of them have said it was a success or beneficial....in fact, they have all said it was just the opposite.
Luckily, their kids are back in school/classes, now....and, they’ve all said how their kids are doing much better, all around.
These are a mix of public and home schooled kids/families.
These lockdowns have been horrid, on so many levels. For what? A hoax disease that has a fatality rate of what, .5??
Thank you.
I can’t believe we have such fear mongers, like FRAUDci and Biten, here.
RIP to this young boy....and, prayers for his family.
"...sooner or later one of these kids is going to do just that..."
Good lord....
...much older than the wife, who is 74. The husband/grandfather died in his nineties. He was about twenty years older than the wife and so he was older when his son was born. It could could have contributed to the drug use.
Nuke China.
