They actually skipped the cardboard fans. They had the various robot team members in specially constructed boxes so that each team was separated from the other teams. Masks were often not worn because the people in each box already spend time with each other (though some wore masks).

The highlight was the last marquee matchup between the vaunted Tombstone and a newer robot called Endgame. Endgame defeated Tombstone (knocked it out of the playing field) in about 8 seconds. The lowlight included the first "trans" competitor - some dude who decided he is now an ugly mannish woman.

I couldn’t believe the numbers of commercials between matches, I timed them at about 4 minutes worth......

I always record it and watch it 30 minutes to an an hour later.

Is it important to get rid of Elway? I am under the impression that he is well liked and doing a decent job.

Again, I don't really care, just what I see on the news. It sounds like he's getting ready to be run out of town, he's sold all his car dealerships, doesn't appear in any commercials anymore.

He basically created a position for himself from which it's next to impossible to be fired. He signs off on every person on the field, even the piss boy.

Since Manning left, the Broncos have SUCKED, and Elway is responsible for all of it. BTW, he's the one who got rid of Tebow.

This is just me reading between the lines of what I've been seeing on the news. I'm sure I'll get harangued by some super fan.
