ya, everyone would need to doubletime it. however, if the alternative is insurrection or worse, perhaps everyone would be motivated to hustle.

the immediate issue is whether we all agree that we all have a very big election problem or not. it’s the first stage of the healing process. if the democrats refuse to agree that we have a very big election problem (something which to me defies logic and reason), then we can try to persuade them with more fervor. ultimately if the democrats insist that the election was fair, in denial of all the evidence to the contrary (affidavits, whatever), then we can console ourselves that we tried our best to avoid whatever comes next.

But, who would be president in the meantime? Would they really allow Trump to stay in office until the states ratify it? It could take years.

You don’t think we already have an insurrection? They are only quiet because the media is ignoring them and they think they have won.

If your solution to avoiding “insurrection or worse” is to surrender, you are a fool and a coward.
